AI Transparency Statement

1. Purpose

This statement explains how Tapapp uses artificial intelligence, what it does with your data, and what you are responsible for. We publish it so you can use AI features with a clear understanding of how they work.

2. Our AI features

Tracey is our AI form builder. You describe the form or checklist you want in plain language, and Tracey generates a draft structure for you to review and edit inside the platform.

Tracey is the only AI feature in Tapapp at the date of this statement. We will update this statement if we add more.

3. How Tracey works

–  You enter a prompt describing the form you want.

–  Your prompt is sent to a third-party AI provider that generates a draft form structure.

–  The draft appears in the form builder for you to review, change, and save.

The AI provider for Tracey is Anthropic. Anthropic is listed in our Sub-processor List.

4. What we send to the AI provider

We send the content of your prompt to the AI provider to generate the result. You should not enter unnecessary personal data into AI prompts.

The AI provider does not use data submitted through its commercial API to train its models. We do not use your prompts to train any model of our own.

5. Human review is required

–  AI output is a draft, not a finished or verified product.

–  You must review any form, checklist, or content Tracey produces before you use it.

–  You are responsible for the accuracy and suitability of anything you save and use.

–  AI can produce results that are incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your purpose.

6. No automated decisions about people

Tracey generates form structures. It does not make decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on any individual. Tapapp does not use AI to make automated decisions about your staff or any Data Subject.

7. Your choice

AI features are optional. You can build forms manually without using Tracey. Using AI features is your choice each time.

8. Accuracy and limitations

We work to make AI features useful and reliable. We do not warrant that AI output will be accurate, complete, or fit for a particular purpose. Section 5 applies.

9. Changes

We may update this statement as our AI features change. We will publish the current version and notify you of material changes.
